1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Nowadays almost every month a new junk food reaches the market. It is found that mainly students are addicted to junk food. It is proven by the Ministry of health and they have released paperwork about this problem(proof?). Students may face a lot of health problems such as obesity by consuming junk food . It can be said that consuming junk food has been a modern day life style of a typical student but do the students themselves know the risks of consuming too much junk food. The danger of it cannot be described without research about it.-are you researching the danger of junk food? So a research report such as this may give some information and awareness to this kind of “disease” in UMP.
-the background information does not sufficiently explain to me about junk food and its relationship to students. Please elaborate.

1.2 DEFINITION OF KEY TERMS

Junk food - informal term applied to some foods which are perceived to have little or no nutritional value, or to products with nutritional value but which also have ingredients considered unhealthy when regularly eaten, or to those considered unhealthy to consume at all. The term was coined by Michael Jacobson, director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest, in 1972.
Foods more likely to be considered junk food generally are those that are more convenient and easy to obtain in a ready-to-eat form, though being such does not automatically define the food as "junk food."
